Video of Google Cardboard's Tour Guide app. This video provides a demonstration of VR being utilized as a means of providing a narrated tour for users to simulate a trip to Versailles in Paris, France (Google Cardboard Tour Guide, 2014). This is prime example of VR's potential within the tourism industry as businesses can develop tours to showcase locations and areas that may be only available at certain times of a year or to highlight special events or functions in a more realistic manner.

Video Examples of VR in use within the HR Industry

VR Simulation of Airplane Evacuation
An interesting use for VR within the Hospitality and tourism Industry. This video demonstrates a VR training program created by the University of Udine that simulates the evacuation procedure for an airplane during a water landing. (HCILabUdine, 2015). This video is another potential use within the Hospitality industry as a means of providing more lifelike training to employees and
demonstrate events and functions that could not be easily replicated in the real world. For example, if a hotel chain wanted to demonstrate protocol for fire evacuation to employees then VR would be able to help demonstrate this scenario.

Virtual Reality Tour of Hotel Room at Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo
Another example of VR being used within the Hospitality industry. This video demonstrates what I mentioned previoulsy regarding a 360 degree video tour of a location. This particular video provides a 360 degree VR Tour of the amenities available in a hotel room at a resort in Tokyo, Japan (Shangri-La Hotel Tokyo Virtual Reality Tour, 2015). As mentioned previously, VR can be utilized to create a 360 video of a location and can demonstrate the qualities of a venue for potential customers wishing to evaluate its features on a closer level before visitng in person.
